Dixie Chicks

The Chicks finished our Summer this past weekend in hot and humid Myrtle Beach at Triple Crown Nationals and went 5-2 for the tournament. It's hard to believe that the Summer season is done as it seems it just got started. We finished our season with 36 wins and just 5 losses and 3 ties. The girls should be proud of themselves as we had a great season and did finish the season as State Champs for the 3rd year in a row. This tournament is always tough for me as I have to say goodbye to some great kids that are headed to College in just a few short weeks. I get attached to these kids and I feel like they are my own kids after coaching them, some have been here longer than others but I will miss them all. I wish them all the best in College and I'm positive these 2016 grads with do big things in school and in softball. If any of you need someone to talk to about softball or life in general, call me anytime. I'm always here for all my grads. Also remember rule #3, that will become important as you get older. We will be back on the field to start our Fall season in a couple weeks. I'm looking forward to getting back at it with the returning players and the new faces also.
