Dixie Chicks

The Chicks travelled to Rocky Mount NC this past weekend to play in our last showcase of the season and tune up for Nationals next week in Florida. We played in the "A" Bracket and played some really good teams and to come out of there with a 4-1 was not too bad at all. The girls played great defense and we got some great pitching as well with 3 shutout wins. We also had some timely hitting. I was proud of the way the girls played but we can't let up now. We have our last practice of the Summer season on Wednesday at Midlothian High School. We leave for Florida this weekend, let's keep working hard and finish strong at Nationals.
