Our Chicks finish the 2004 fall season this weekend in Myrtle Beach S.C. Our pool games on Saturday are 8:00, 11:00, and 5:00. We play Pitt County Thunder from Greenville N.C., Wake Forest Rockers from Raleigh N.C. and Coastal Xpress from Wilmington N.C. in that order. We will need to play great ball all weekend to win the tourney and impress the college coaches in this showcase. As always, GO CHICKS!! Early Signing Showcase Myrtle Beach, SC Friday 11/12/03 - Sunday 11/14/03 The USFA invites teams to Myrtle Beach, SC. This tournament draws teams from all over the country and Canada. Coaches take this opportunity to showcase your players with the possibility they can be seen. We are limiting entries from each state to ensure the geographical balance of the tournament. Teams get in early! All team checks are deposited, you must wait on being accepted if you cancel or withdraw once you have been notified that you have been accepted into the tournament and you have a reserved spot; you will be refunded one-half of the tournament entry fee; if you withdraw before Oct 12, 2004. Your total tournament fee is non-refundable if you cancel or withdraw from the tournament after Oct 12, 2004 (no exceptions and no substitutions allowed). DATE: November 12th TIME: 5:00 - 9:00PM PLACE: Myrtle Beach, SC What you will receive Jersey and Visor for yours to keep Work-out (40-Yd Dash, IF/OF Skills, Catcher Pop Time, H-1B Time, and a Live Batting Practice off Live Pitching) Profile, Photo, Skill Grades, and Video Placed on the PG Website (Skill grades are based on the averages of each player that has ever attended a PG event. Position players and catchers will be assessed on velocities of their overhand throw, foot speed, pop time, hitting power and technique, and their fielding approach. Pitchers will be assessed on all of the above as well as pitch speed, ball movement, and ball control.) Your results will be sent out to over 1,000 College Coaches across the US the same day they are posted on the website Results will be posted on the website 3 weeks after the day of the event An open forum on the recruiting process before the event One VHS or DVD copy of your ENTIRE skills performance. This video footage will be unedited and taken primarily from the “skills workout” portion of the Showcase. Video footage includes some or all of the following: running, fielding, pitching, and hitting. Pitching footage will be captured during the games. Awesome price.
